Group Participation Terms, Conditions, and Membership Agreement

 

Welcome!  I am so happy that you have chosen this program to help you get started and stay on this journey to a healthier you!  Believe me when I say that this program is going to change the way you think about health and fitness. Below are the Terms and Conditions to which you will need to agree to before beginning the online program.

 

Safety and Health:

    1. It is suggested that you talk with a medical doctor by phone or in person if any of the following applies:
      1. Your doctor has said that you have a heart condition and that you should only do physical activity recommended by a doctor.
      2. You feel pain in your chest when you do physical activity
      3. In the past month, you have had pain in your chest when you are not doing physical activity.
      4. You lose your balance because of dizziness or you ever lose consciousness.
      5. You have a bone or joint problem that could be made worse by a change in your physical activity.
      6. Your doctor is currently prescribing drugs for your blood pressure or heart condition.
      7. You have a health condition that restricts the amount of physical activity you can do.
    2. If at any point your health condition changes and any of the above scenarios apply, please notify Ashlee of the changes.
    3. It is your responsibility to notify Ashlee of any recurring injury or medical condition that would impact your ability to safely perform the exercises provided.
    4. Delay becoming more active if:
      1. You are not feeling well because of a temporary illness such as a cold or fever.
      2. If you are or may be pregnant. Talk to your doctor before you start to become more active.
    5. You understand that there are inherent risks in participating in a program of strenuous exercise. If you sustain or claim to sustain any injury while participating in training, you acknowledge that Ashlee Brandt, Robin Winkles or STRONG by Ash B/Ash B Health and Fitness/Ash B Fit is not responsible, except where the injury was caused by gross negligence or an intentional act.
    6. Ashlee Brandt and Robin Winkles cannot be held liable in any way for undeclared or unknown medical conditions.
  1. Equipment and Effort
    1. You will be required to use a minimal amount of exercise equipment.  Obtaining that equipment is your responsibility.  You will be asked to obtain the following:
      1. Two dumbbells and a set of resistance loops
      2. A mat (if working out on a hard surface)
      3. Any of the optional equipment recommended for the Glute Program.
    2. You are expected to give your best effort every day.  Results are not a guarantee, but instead they are earned based on the amount of effort that is put in.
  2. Accountability
    1. You are required to complete the assigned daily resistance workout. 
    2. You are required to turn in your weekly nutrition form
    3. If the member decides to not track their nutrition or use an alternate form of nutrition or “diet”, you understand that Ashlee and Robin are not liable for any adverse side affects or medical issues.
    4. You will check in with Ashlee every Sunday. Ashlee will post a short check-in survey and will give a time that the check-in will need to be completed by.
  3. Positivity and Respect
    1. By signing this agreement, you agree to never use negative language or profanities toward another member of the group or toward yourself.
    2. You agree that you will not call yourself or others names such as fat, lazy, loser, cow, whale or any other derogatory names.
    3. You agree to not use statements such as “I suck”, “I failed” or “I sucked it up this week”. 
    4. You agree that while interacting in the group that you will not use dieting terms that include, but are not limited to:
      1. “I fell off the wagon.”
      2. “I am going to make up for this meal tomorrow.”
      3. “I have to work out to work off that __________.”
      4. “I’ll just start over again next week/month/year.”
    5. You agree to keep your interactions with other members positive and uplifting.
    6. You agree that Ashlee Brandt has the right to remove you from the group if she finds your language or actions inappropriate.
    7. Please refrain from posting memes or graphic that promote a specific diet or with questionable content. If you do post this type of content, Ashlee reserves the right to remove it and a message will be sent to you explaining why it was removed.
    8. Please refrain from posting anything in the group that promotes a product or service that is associated with an outside business or MLM company. If you do post this type of content, Ashlee reserves the right to remove it and a message will be sent to you explaining why it was removed.
  4. Cancellation and Refunds
    1. You agree that in order to cancel your monthly membership, notice must be given within the first 24 hours after the purchase. Notice after 24 hours of the purchase will incur full payment of the full group membership fee.
    2. If you purchase a 3 month, 6 month or 12 month membership, you agree to pay the full balance before the start of the membership.  If you wish to cancel your 6 month or 12 month membership, you agree that notice must be given within 24 hours of the purchase. Notice after 24 hours of the purchase will incur full payment of the full group membership fee of either 3 months, 6 months or 12 months.
    3. Once purchased, your monthly, 3 month, 6 month or 12 month membership is non-refundable and Non-transferable.
  5. Rights and Ownership
    1. You agree to not share or distribute any of the workouts, emails, or health/fitness related content that is distributed during this group.
    2. Ashlee Brandt and Ash B Health and Fitness (STRONG by Ash B) owns all content distributed in this group.
